Sodium Sensors

An innovative technology to measure the concentration of sodium in aqueous and non-aqueous solutions in real time is available. The sensor can measure sodium concentration in the presence on other competing monovalent and multivalent elements and other organic and inorganic contaminants and solid precipitation. The sensor operates in the range of 10F to 150F with 90% response in less than 15 seconds. Potential Industrial applications for these sensors are in the following areas:

• Measure sodium concentration of aqueous and non aqueous streams in real-time in any chemical industries (process streams) where sodium based chemistries are handled
• Sodium measure in radioactively exposed aqueous waste recycling and Nuclear industries
• Measure concentration of sodium in methanol, Sodium methoxide concentration in the 0.5 to 28 wt % range
• Potentially measure concentration of Alkali Alcoholates used in wide variety of chemical, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, agricultural markets and analytical measurements
• Measure incoming and outgoing feed and product sodium concentration in electrolytic processes
